On June 12, 2016, I survived being struck by lightning in Marlin Texas. I now celebrate June 12th as Lightning Day, my own personal holiday. Lightning Day is a celebration of life and change. To survive the kiss of lightning you realize how many other things are possible and each year I strive to reach a little further.
